The Cessna 206 has been the work-horse for MAF, and many other mission aviation organisations, for many years.

With thunder clouds making the backdrop, this aircraft is at Kumbwareta, about 15 minutes flying time north-west of Mount Hagen in the Western Highlands.

The Australian Baptist Missionary Society used to have a large base here, but now they only supervise the running of Tinsley Health Centre, the regional hospital they established which provides the only medical care for thousands of people in the surrounding villages.
