Dusin is located about 20 minutes flying time north of Mount Hagen in the Bismarck-Schrader ranges at 5,800' above sea level. Perched on a ridge it is prone to clouding in, making approaches to land difficult or impossible, or alternatively trapping the aircraft on the ground until the cloud clears.
