The GA-8 first arrived in June 2005 and was the first brand-new aircraft MAF-PNG has had for over two decades. This picture is of the later turbo-charged GA8 with a three, rather than two, bladed propeller. The turbo-charged engine enables the aircraft to perform very much better in the hot and high environment that MAF works in in PNG.

This aircraft arrived in PNG in April 2009 and was purchased with funds donated to MAF-UK.
