Early morning is a good time to fly! As the sun rises the oranges and pinks are reflected in the clouds overhead, as well as on the tops of those that are filling the valleys.

As the day warms up the fog in the valleys quickly breaks up and often later on builds into thunderstorms that shed their load of water during the afternoon and evening.
