Light varies according to location, even if it all comes from the same source. Coastal light has its own particular quality and watching the sun go down on a tropical beach is a pleasant and relaxing passtime.

As PNG is only slightly south of the equator the sun sets at a much greater speed than in the higher latitudes. In England, for example, twilight will last for a good half hour or more. In PNG it is all over in about ten minutes.
